For close to 25,000 people, it's tough to be poor in Kitsap County. Since 1965, Kitsap Community Resources has offered a "safety net" of services to people in need. KCR receives funding from a variety of sources including contributions from individuals and organizations. |

- $50 will help buy a warm coat and a toy for a child's Christmas
- $75 will help provide energy assistance for an elderly couple
