How To Help Employers
kcrOur programs offer different types of personnel resources depending on your needs.

Community Jobs
Community Jobs participants are available to work 20-32 hours weekly, up to 3 months in length.

Benefits to you:
Cost Savings
Employer avoids the costs and time associated with the hiring process
Employer pays no wages, L&I, or employer taxes
Employer entitled to tax break if applicant is hired after 3-month orientation

Employee and Job Compatibility
Applicant is pre-screened for best work-skill match
Employer can test and train the applicant during a 3-month orientation

KCR Support
KCR employment counselors monitor and track applicant’s work progress for up to 3 months to ensure the employer and applicant meet work and skill goals

Community Works participants are available to non-profit and government organizations to assist with projects that benefit the community.

Benefits to You:
Free Services for non-profit and government organizations
KCR Supervision
Work teams are supervised by KCR
No L&I Costs
Flexibility
Projects can be one-time or on-going depending on available work teams

KCRAdult Employment Services: Workforce Investment Act (WIA)
Adult Employment Services applicants have previous work experience and are searching for employment or a new career path.

Benefits to you:
Cost Savings
Employer pays no wages, taxes, or L&I during a Work Experience contract
Employer is reimbursed for 50% of applicant’s wages during an “On the Job Training” contract
Employer entitled to tax break if applicant is hired after 90-day orientation
Employer avoids the costs and time associated with the hiring process

Employee and Job Compatibility
Applicant is pre-screened for best work-skill match
Employer can test and train the applicant during a 3-month orientation

KCR Support
KCR employment counselors monitor and track applicant’s work progress for up to 9 months to ensure the employer and applicant meet work and skill goals
