SPECIAL PROJECTS - VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR [details]

$13.36 Hour to start plus benefits, full-time position. Requires High School Diploma or GED plus 3.5 years experience in Business or Human Services or AA Degree plus 1.5 years experience. This position is responsible for coordinating the Parenting Place parent education program, the Christmas Angel and Support-a-Student donation programs, and KCR’s volunteer efforts. Must have proven ability to organize, prioritize, work independently, and develop projects with office team members. Requires experience in MS Office applications including Excel, Word and Access and must have database experience. Must have good oral and written communication skills.

AMERICORPS MANAGER [details]

$3550 – $4260 per month DOE to start plus 100% employer paid benefits. Position located in Bremerton. Requires BA/BS plus 3.5 years experience managing programs, staff and volunteers. Experience may be substituted for education. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of KCR’s AmeriCorps and related community engagement program, Kitsap Youth in Action. Implements policies, develops and provides participant training, and manages day-to-day operations of the Program. Must have excellent human relations and organizational skills. This is an on-call position that assists the teacher/teacher aide in the daily classroom routine. Must have flexibility of scheduling and ability to receive assignments as early as 6:30 AM, M-F. Must be able to obtain Washington State Food Handlers Permit.
