HEADSTART ECEAP TEACHER [Details]
HEADSTART/ECEAP TEACHER: $15.06 Per Hour to start, plus benefits, 30 hours per week, Part Year (Sept – May) position in Bremerton. Requires Associate’s Degree plus three years experience teaching preschool age children. Preferred BA/BS in Early Childhood or related field plus one year experience teaching preschool age children. Bi-lingual a plus. Training opportunities available, which may require out of town travel.

ELFS FAMILY DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST 1 [Details]
$12.81 Hour to start plus benefits, 40 hours per week. Requires High School Diploma or GED plus 2.5 years’ experience in Social Services or related field or AA Degree plus one year experience. This position is responsible for outreach, enrollment and community activities providing direct services to families, including crisis intervention and follow-up. Must have ability to work with diverse populations and have working knowledge of community resources available to low-income families. Bi-lingual a plus. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR [Details]
Kitsap Community Resources is seeking a full-time Executive Director.

Kitsap Community Resources has provided services to low-income individuals in Kitsap County for over 50 years. Our mission is to create hope and opportunity for low-income Kitsap County residents by providing resources that promote self-sufficiency and stability.
Our purpose is to provide stability and opportunity for those in unfortunate circumstances such as poverty, domestic violence, debilitating health, or homelessness. From prenatal care to childhood education to housing and energy assistance to employment and training, our services cover a wide range of needs that successfully achieve the ultimate goals of providing hope, opportunity, and self-sufficiency.

Education and Experience Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree plus six years experience or Master’s degree, plus four years experience in social services or a related field including management, budgeting and supervisory experience.

General Statement of Responsibility
This position leads and oversees all activities of Kitsap Community Resources (KCR), consistent with KCR’s mission, vision and organizational values; Board of Directors policies and directives; and applicable laws and funding source requirements. This includes establishment of a forward-looking organizational culture that supports those who KCR serves, employees and volunteers. This individual makes policy recommendations to and supports the Board, guides the organization through strategic planning, and establishes operational and communication systems for KCR that align with best practices. The Executive Director champions community action for low-income residents, and actively engages with community organizations and leaders, as well as state and national community action associations.

SUBSTITUTE CLASSROOM ASSISTANT [Details]
SUBSTITUTE CLASSROOM ASSISTANTS: $11.50 Hour. Requires High School Diploma or GED plus one year experience working with children, birth to 5 years. This is an on-call position that assists the teacher/teacher aide in the daily classroom routine. Must have flexibility of scheduling and ability to receive assignments as early as 6:30 AM, M-F. Must be able to obtain Washington State Food Handlers Permit.
