 Christmas Angel
In just a few short months, the magic of Christmas and the holiday season will fill children’s hearts and minds. However the holidays can be a time of increased stress and hardship for many low-income parents in Kitsap County as they choose between paying their bills or buying gifts for their children.
You Can Help Make the Holidays Brighter. Last year Christmas Angel provided gifts to over 2,800 children whose families participate in one or more of KCR’s programs which benefit low-income families in our county.
There are three ways for you to be a Christmas Angel:
• Sponsor one or more children. For each child you would receive the first name, age, sex, sizes, needs and wishes of the child(ren). And, you would personally deliver the gifts to the KCR Christmas Angel Center or directly to the family.
• Donate unwrapped new clothes, books, toys and games for the Santa Shoppe. The Santa Shoppe offers parents of children were not directly sponsored an opportunity to select gifts for their children.
• Volunteer for Santa Tree pickups, data entry, gift processing and distribution, or help in the Santa Shoppe.We would be honored if you would be one of KCR’s Christmas Angels this year.
