WIC (Women, Infant, and Children)

The WIC Program provides nutrition education and supplemental food for income eligible women, infants, and children up to their 5th birthday. WIC promotes lifelong health and nutrition awareness to participating families in Kitsap County.

FAST (Family Assistance Service and Training)

The Family Self-Sufficiency program offers education, training and employment support to families living in subsidized housing. The program's objective is to assist these families to become fully independent of any type of public assistance.

Community Jobs

Community Jobs provides transitional community-based employment and training opportunities for WorkFirst participants with significant challenges. Through public/private partnerships, participants gain increased self-confidence, marketable work skills and increased options to unsubsidized employment. DSHS Referral Required.

Energy Assistance

With funding from the Low-Income Energy Assistance Program, Puget Sound Energy and Cascade Natural Gas, KCR offers low-income renters and homeowners financial assistance to help pay winter heating bills and for furnace repairs.
