Support our Food Rescue Program
Our Food Services Department plays a vital role in fighting hunger and supporting families across Kitsap County. In 2024, KCR served 113,441 nutritious meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity, helping ensure consistent access to healthy food.
Through our Food Rescue Program, KCR partners with local food banks and community organizations to recover surplus food that would otherwise go to waste. Our team transforms rescued ingredients into soups and prepared meals, extending their use throughout the year and maximizing their impact. This innovative approach reduces food waste while providing reliable, nourishing meals to the community.

Support our Business Education program
Our Business Education Program runs four cohorts each year, in both English and Spanish, giving aspiring business owners the skills, knowledge, and confidence to start, launch, and grow their own businesses. From understanding the basics of business planning to learning how to market, manage, and sustain a venture, this program provides the guidance and resources that make entrepreneurship accessible to everyone.
