 The Parenting Place
This is a program offering a full spectrum of services designed to build strong families in Kitsap County. Classes for parents and children build on existing strengths using the Developmental Assets Model.
Topics include:
• Parents of infant and toddlers
• Raising teens
• Helping children who have witnessed domestic violence
• The challenging child
• Parents and youth working together to strengthen the family
• Parenting in recovery
• The blended family
• Siblings without rivalry
Eligibility:
Any community resident may register for parenting classes by calling (360) 473-2134. Fees may apply depending on income level.
The Parenting Place Lending Library
We have books on every parenting issue and topic available! Also there are hundreds of handouts, pamphlets and other resources for parents & families. Stop by and look at our library and sign up for a parenting class!
