Kitsap Community Needs Assessment Survey
Kitsap Community Needs Assessment survey is closed as of October 23.
Kitsap Community Resources (KCR) conducts a comprehensive assessment every three years to evaluate the needs and assets in our community. It is designed to highlight the gaps in service, programs and/or policy in Kitsap County, specifically as they pertain to the community members that need these services the most. It also helps to inform and guide KCR’s strategic plan.
We thank you all for taking the survey and helping improve Kitsap County! A big thank you goes to all our partners who made the survey possible. We will analyze the data and share our findings with the community early in 2023.
These focus groups are intended to take a deeper look into the needs of our community. Focus group discussions are approximately 90-minutes long and include childcare, dinner, and a $25 gift card for each adult participant. Scroll below to find the dates and the information on how to register.
The survey was available in English, Spanish, Tagalog and Kurdish translations.
THE SURVEY IS CLOSED AS OF OCTOBER 23, 2022.

Why It’s Important to Hear from the Kitsap Community
For KCR to better serve, we need to critically evaluate ourselves, while understanding the assets of the community and their needs. For the 2022 CNA we’re making an effort to approach this work with strategies to engage community voices, especially those who are often left out of the process. Community voice makes an impact on the services and programs offered in Kitsap County.
Focus Groups
Throughout the survey administration (July-October 2022) the CNA survey team will be conducting 90-minute focus groups with community members, grassroots organizations, and leaders throughout the community. These focus groups are intended to take a deeper look into the community service need. They will include translation services and childcare when applicable.
Do you have a group of community members interested in having a one-on-one focus group with the survey team? Please contact ametuku@kcr.org to schedule a 90-minute meeting, we request 6 people minimum for focus groups.
Until now, we have conducted 10 focus groups during October – December 2022. Check out the roadmap below.
