Due to the recent developments statewide and in Kitsap County related to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we feel it is necessary to increase precautionary measures for the safety and health of our clients and staff, as well as do our part in helping mitigate the impact and spread of COVID-19 in our community.

Given the situation, and the fact that we serve an overwhelming number of clients each day, we have implemented a new procedure for providing energy assistance.  Effective October 1st, we will be providing a limited amount of in-house appointments.  A majority of our services will be done through the mail until further notice.

Please note that if you choose to apply for assistance through the mail, you must still select a date and time in order to apply for assistance.  The date and time that you choose is only to secure a mail-in appointment, it is not the date of your actual appointment.

 You will receive your Energy Assistance application in the mail with a list of documents that we must have in order to process your application  Your energy assistance application will be mailed out to you with a new deadline to return your documentation.  We will try our best to send out your application in a timely manner,  but please be aware that due to high volume of energy assistance applicants, it may take a couple of weeks before an application is mailed out to you.
